Fundraising
bike run raises funds for Burnham-On-Sea charity
Fun-loving
motorcyclists in fancy dress costumes roared through Highbridge
on Sunday (October 30th) at the start of a sponsored 35-mile bike
ride.
Members
of the Somerset Motorcycle Group organised the ride from Highbridge's
Bristol Bridge Inn to Watchet to raise funds for Burnham-On-Sea's
rescue hovercraft charity, BARB.
Organiser
Norman Templeman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "We had
a short run from Highbridge to the Harbour Cafe at Minehead where,
as usual, we were made very welcome."
"It was nice to see so many new faces joining us for this
ride out in addition to many of our regular supporters and members."
"Thanks go to everyone that took part and helped us raise
around £170 for BARB, which relies on charitable contributions
to keep going."
