-

Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to tackle a caravan blaze on Wednesday afternoon (August 10th).

Crews were called out at 2.09pm to reports of a caravan in flames on the A38 at Pawlett.

One fire engine from Bridgwater was sent along with one engine from Burnham and on their arrival it was confirmed that the caravan was well alight.

“Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus wearers and one hose reel jet,” a fire spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“!The caravan was completely destroyed by fire and the cause is believed to be accidental, possibly caused by brakes overheating.”
