Highbridge police appeal for help in finding fish thieves

Police have appealed for help in finding a thief who stole 17 koi carp from a collector's pond in Highbridge at the weekend.

Officers were called to North Avenue on Monday (July 4th) after the owner reported the fish had been removed some time between Sunday evening and early Monday morning.

Inspector Roger Tolley told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The fish were stolen from a pond in an enclosed garden where access is difficult. Various enquries are ongoing and we would ask anyone who is offered the fish or has information to get in contact."
