Several hundred pounds was raised for Burnham-On-Sea’s Hillview Carnival Club on Sunday (May 29th) when an outdoor fundraising party was held.
The event, at The Lighthouse Inn in Highbridge Road, attracted a steady flow of supporters and raised around £300.
The event included live music, a raffle, resfreshments and several fundraising stalls.
“Thanks go to everyone who supported us at this fun event, particularly the team at The Lighthouse,” Hillview Chairman Mark Bishop told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Several other local groups were also invited to attend, including BARB, which brought along its Light Of Elizabeth rescue hovercraft, as pictured below.
