Glass mosaic making workshops set to be held in Highbridge

-

A series of glass mosaic making workshops are to be held in Highbridge throughout November.

The training sessions will be led by an experienced tutor and will be held in Morland Hall in conjunction with Sedgemoor Community Partnership.

The workshops will be held each Tuesday from November 1st-29th between 10am and 12.30pm.

“These sessions aim to provide a fun and exciting introduction to planning and making your very own mosaic,” organiser Richard Matthews told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“The course will provide the basics of how to create your own mosaic under the guidance of an experienced tutor.”

Angie Dibble, who has specialised in stained glass work for 12 years, will lead the training. She also teaches the subject regularly at adult classes in Somerset.

The sessions will be available free to people who can demonstrate they are in receipt of benefits, are on low income, or who are not currently in work. Those who do not qualify for the free course can pay £32 to attend.

To book a place on the course, collect an enrolment form and details from the Morland Hall in Pearce Drive, Highbridge TA9 3ET any Friday during the daytime or contact Richard Mathews on 07827 647856 or email him here.
