Burnham school pupils end the term with 'sell-out' drama show

Year 6 pupils from Burnham-On-Sea's St Andrew's School ended their primary school years by performing two memorable nights of drama.

Parents and friends of the pupils filled the school's hall to watch the youngsters perform a modern musical version of Romeo and Juliet.

"Combining the traditional Shakespeare version with songs by Rhianna, REM, The Wanted and Shakespeare’s Sister to name but a few, this was an amazing show," Gavin Morris, Deputy Headteacher at St Andrews, told

"Fred Tiso was sensational as Romeo whilst Melissa Fear wowed the audiences with her acting and singing talents - a real star in the making."
