Biker hurt in A38 accident on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital following a collision with a car, which led to the A38 through Burnham-On-Sea being temporarily closed on Sunday afternoon (May 27th).

A Vauxhall Zafira and a Kawasaki ZX9R motorbike collided at the entrance to Edithmead Caravan Park, as pictured here.

The busy route was closed at around 1.15pm while emergency services were on scene.

A male motorcyclist was taken to Weston General Hospital with injuries that were not understood to be serious.

The accident caused delays for traffic coming off the M5 at Burnham and motorists heading north along the A38.
