Police cordon off part of Highbridge’s Apex Park in investigation

Police sealed off part of Highbridge’s Apex Wildlife Park on Monday (May 21st) as they investigated allegations of a “serious overnight incident.”

Officers sealed off an area of grassland at the eastern side of the park near Newtown Road, pictured here.

Police tape was used to cordon off the scene as the investigation into the incident got underway.

Inspector Roger Tolley from Burnham Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Police are investigating an incident that is alleged to have occurred late on Sunday night.”

“No further information is available at this point given the early stage of the investigation.”
