Athletes head to Burnham-On-Sea for today's autumn aquathlon
Athletes
from across the south west will be taking part in Burnham-On-Sea's
autumn aquathlon today (Sunday, October 14th).
The event will include a 750 metre sea swim at Burnham Swim and
Sports Academy and a 7.5km run along the seafront to Apex Park.
It gets underway at 9am and will be followed by 'splash and dash' races
for children.
Organiser
Martin Rogers from Burnham Swim and Sports Academy told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"We've had a lot of interest in the event, with 50 entries
in the adults races and 90 youngsters in the childrens' event."
