Archery
enthusiasts target Burnham-On-Sea for annual tournament

Archery
enthusiasts from across the south west gathered in Burnham-On-Sea
this week to take part in an annual tournament.
Dozens
of archers competed in the Autumn Longbow Tournament, held at
the town's BASC sports ground.
Local
competitors included Highbridge town councillor Alan Miller, pictured,
who recently took up the sport.
"We
had over 30 archers shooting at six targets over distances ranging
from 50-80 yards. It was a successful, well supported event,"
Claire Burgess from Burnham Company of Archers told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
The
group welcomes new members to its weekly training sessions, which
are held on Saturday mornings at the BASC Ground.
