Burnham-On-Sea's
new Carnival Queen to be selected this evening
Highbridge
and Burnham-On-Sea's new Carnival Queen and Princesses will be
chosen at a special event on Saturday night (July 21st).
The annual Carnival Queen and Princess Selection Evening will
be held from 6.45pm, with judging at 7.15pm, at Burnham's Princess
Theatre.
The
evening will include entertainment from young members of Highbridge's
Lucy Gunter Dance Centre.
Burnham's
MP Tessa Munt will be among the judges including Greg Kelloway
(President of Burnham Lions Club), Malcolm Borland (Carnival President)
and Lucy Gunter (from the Lucy Gunter Dance Centre).
Tickets
are still available, priced at £4 for adults and £2
for under 16s which will be on sale at the door.
