Two-week
Christmas Tree Festival opens in Burnham-On-Sea

A
two-week
Christmas tree festival is underway in Burnham-On-Sea,
with more than a dozen sparkling trees on display.
A
lighting-up ceremony was held on Saturday evening (December 8th)
inside St Andrew's Church where the annual tree festival and life-size
crib scene is now open to the public.
Local
businesses and organisations from Burnham and Highbridge have
decorated the trees.
Many
of the trees have been decorated with unique items linked to the
sponsoring company. Among them is Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Organiser
Richard Allen, pictured, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "The trees
look wonderful. We have a good selection again this year and they
will be lit right up to Christmas Eve."
The
trees are on show to the public from 10am-4pm each day until Christmas
(and on Sunday afternoons). Entry is free, with charity donations
welcome.
Supporting
companies and organisations include St Andrew's Church, Burnham-On-Sea.com,
Baytree Upholstery, Material Needs, GW Hurleys, Ritz Cinema, Mike
Lowe Hairdresser, Scott's Furnishings, Bayree Building, Home Hardware,
Positive Wealth Creation, St John Ambulance, St Andrew's School
and the Church Choir, Burnham Infant School and the Hospice Movement.
