Burnham-On-Sea fire crews tackle kitchen blaze in village home

Burnham-On-Sea firefighters were called to tackle a kitchen blaze at a home in the village of Mark on Friday evening (August 10th).

Fire crews from Burnham, Cheddar and Bridgwater rushed to The Causeway at 9.17pm.

"Two appliances from Burnham, one appliance from Cheddar and a water carrier from Bridgwater were mobilised following a report of fire within a domestic property," a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

"Crews located a small fire involving pans in an oven and positive pressure fans were used to ventilate the property and a thermal image camera was used to check for hot spots."
