Excitement
builds at Burnham-On-Sea carnival club as big day nears

Excitement
is growing at Burnham-On-Sea's carnival club this week as the
youngsters who will performing on the town's cart have been holding
their final dress rehearsals.
With
just hours to go until the start of the carnival season on Saturday
in Bridgwater, Hillview Carnival Club's young members onboard
the club's float, called Hollywood Hotel, have been proudly showing
off their colourful costumes.
The
club's costumes have been created by volunteers Lyn Burland and
Tina Marshall, who have spent several months stitching the clothes
together.
Meanwhile, Hillview's team have been working around the clock
to get their cart ready in time for the Bridgwater Carnival this
Saturday (November 3rd).
The 100ft long cart has cost £10,000 to build and has been
decorated with more than 10,000 light bulbs, as Burnham-On-Sea.com
recently featured
here. The cart will come home to the Highbridge and Burnham
Carnival on Monday, November 12th.
