Matt
Flint, the 2011 winner of BBC1's So You Think You Can Dance,
visited Highbridge's Lucy Gunter Dance and Theatre Arts Centre
on Saturday (August 4th).
The
star held a series of dancing masterclasses for children and adults,
as pictured here.
The
centre's Lucy Gunter told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "Matt started
the day with a tap class for 7-12 year-olds followed by a tap
class for 13 year-olds to adults."
"Both of these proved very popular for budding tap dancers
from around Somerset. The American tap routines were great fun
and gave a taste of the style that Matt won the reality dance
show with."
"Matt
then went on to teach broadway jazz, again a popular class, giving
the dancers a feel of west end musical theatre. He finished the
day with a boys dance class, a fantastic opportunity for them
to have a professional male teacher."
She
added that all the dancers thoroughly enjoyed the classes and
gave lots of positive feedback.
Professional
dancer Camilla Dallerup, who appeared on Strictly Come Dancing
for five years, will also be visiting the centre on Monday
August 20th to give dance classes with children aged 4-13. To
