More than £2,000 was handed out to local good causes by members of Burnham-On-Sea's Moose Lodge on Thursday evening (April 26th).

Cheques were handed out by the Ladies Circle to St John Ambulance, Highbridge Community Food Bank, Jordan Fund, Stroke Club, BAY Centre, Burnham Dreamscheme, BARB (Burnham Area Rescue Boat) and Moose Western Area Welfare.

Outgoing Moose Governor Arthur Thorogood also handed out cheques to his two nominated charities, Burnham-On-Sea Community Centre and Burnham Gateway Club.
