Free
'Music On The Green' concert to be held in Highbridge
on Sunday
An
award-winning acoustic act will be headlining a free outdoor concert
in the centre of Highbridge this Sunday (August 12th).
Nicky
Swann, who won 'Best Acoustic Act' at the South West Music Awards,
will be the lead act at Highbridge's Music On The Green from 12.30pm
until 5pm.
Nicky
has performed at many UK music festivals and has even shared the
stage with top artists including Charlotte Church, Clive Gregson
and Roy Bailey.
Sunday's
concert will be held on Highbridge's Town Green, next to the community
centre, and is being overseen by CADS, the Burnham and Highbridge
Cultural Arts and Development Society, which holds several free
events a year in the two towns.
Also
on the line-up will be singer songwriter Bruce Hudson, The Scratch
Band playing bluegrass and others.
Organiser
Mike Murphy told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "This is the last of
the CADS events for 2012 until Party in the Park in May 2013,
so don't miss a great afternoon of entertainment."
Refreshments
will include real ale and cider plus a prize raffle.
