Police appeal after 1,000 roof tiles stolen from Highbridge building site

-

Police have this week appealed for witnesses after 1,000 roof tiles were stolen from a building site in Highbridge.

The materials were removed from the site of the former Canal House, right, which was bulldozed by developers last month.

Sgt Ian Kennett of Burnham Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “A large quantity of roof tiles, thought to be around 1,000, was stolen from the site. It is unclear when the theft occurred, but we would be interested in hearing from anyone who has any information.”

To get in contact, call Burnham Police on their non-emergency number 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
