A busy Highbridge road was partially closed on Tuesday evening (March 19th) after a two-vehicle crash.
Police were called to Burnham Road at just after 4.30pm to divert traffic around the scene of the collision, which occured near the convenience store.
“A Vauxhall Estate collided with a white delivery van, but the occupants escaped without any injuries,” an eyewitness told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
Traffic backed up in both directions at the height of the teatime rush hour before a recovery vehicle managed to take the van away from the centre of the road.
