Burnham motorist appeals for help after vandals cause £600 of damage

-

A Burnham-On-Sea motorist is counting the cost of vandalism after his car was attacked, causing hundreds of pounds of damage.

Ian Cook’s VW Polo was damaged with a key outside Burnham’s Tesco store in Ben Travers Way on Thursday evening (November 21st).

“The scratch runs all along the passenger side and amounts to £600 worth of damage,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“It took place last Thursday between 7-11pm and I am keen that anyone who witnessed it should contact Burnham Police.”

Those with information should get in contact with Burnham Police on the non-emergency number 101.

It’s the second such incident over the past month – we reported here how another motorist had her car keyed in Highbridge’s Asda car park.
