Donation hits a high note for Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society

-

A donation from a new business has hit the right note for singers at Burnham and Higbridge Choral Society this week.

The Co-Operative Funeralcare in Adam Street has presented the popular group with a cheque for £500 to help fund its community concerts and activities.

The Co-Op’s Grant Parris said: “We like to help local community groups as much as we can and are delighted to be helping the Choral Society ahead of its busy season of concerts.”

The singers will be performing at the annual memorial service in Weston on November 24th at St John Baptist Church at 2.30pm.

And the society is also busily preparing for its annual Christmas choral concert in Burnham, which will be held on December 12th in St Andrew’s Church from 7pm.
