Excited youngsters from a Burnham-On-Sea dance school performed in a show alongside stars from the BBC’s hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing this week.
The 38 children from local dance school DanceFit performed two routines during a show at The Playhouse in Weston featuring Strictly stars Pasha Kovalev and Katya Virshilas.
“The children came together to perform a hip hop medley and a musical medley with songs ranging from Gangnam style to Abba!” DanceFit’s Victoria Roberts told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“It was an absolutely fantastic evening performing to a sell out crowd. Some of the children had never performed on a stage before and made their debut with stars
“After our rehearsal on the stage, the children all got to spend some time with Pasha and Katya getting photographs and their t-shirts signed!”
“It was such a brilliant opportunity for the children to be a part of a professional show and to be so close to dancers of that standard.”
