Emotional video tribute to Dylan Cecil watched by thousands

-

Thousands of people have viewed an online video released over the past week in memory of Dylan Cecil, the four year-old boy who died in Burnham-On-Sea last summer.

The video shows a number of photos of the youngster with an emotional sound track sung by American singer Taylor Swift.

It was produced by Kirsty Lockwood, who lives nears Dylan’s family in Kettering and is a friend of Dylan’s parents.

“They’ve been through such a hard time, I just wanted to do something special for them,” said Kirsty. “I think about little Dylan and his family every day.”

Dylan drowned after falling from Burnham’s jetty into Bridgwater Bay on August 19th last year, sparking a huge search operation by the town’s Coastguards, lifeboat and hovercraft crews. His body was found washed up four days later.

An inquest was held last week into the tragedy when West Somerset’s coroner recorded an accidental verdict and absolved his parents of any blame.
