Hillview Carnival Club holds 'emergency meeting' amid volunteer
Hillview Carnival Club held an 'emergency meeting' last night
(Monday) to discuss the future of the club amid a volunteer crisis.
club has seen many of its vital helpers who design and build its
float moving to Bridgwater clubs in recent months, leaving it
so short of volunteers that pulling out of this year's carnival

Chairman Mark Bishop, pictured below, told Burnham-On-Sea.com:
"The emergency meeting was held because we've suffered a
big downturn in membership plus problems with moving sites."
