have this week arrested 13 people and seized drugs and daggers
during raids on homes in Burnham-On-Sea, Highbridge and Bridgwater.
Officers discovered four types of drugs - including cannabis,
heroin and amphetamines - and cash as they searched 12 properties
during a day of action on Thursday (February 28th).
substantial amount of cash was also recovered, as well as a number
of ceremonial martial arts daggers and weapons (pictured) which
will now be destroyed.
Roger Tolley praised local people for providing police with the
intelligence needed to deal with drugs offenders.

A dozen of the most vulnerable victims of crime - people who have
suffered a repeat burglary or persistent anti-social behaviour
- were visited at home by PCSOs on Thursday and given crime prevention
advice and security-marking.

action with the whole team providing the highest quality of service
to our community - as they do on all days."
