Volunteers at Burnham-On-Sea lifeboat station will be holding their annual fundraising car wash this Saturday (March 9th).
Weather permitting, Burnham RNLI volunteers are preparing to don their dry-suits for the popular ‘Soap Our Saloons’ wash between 11am and 3pm.
Each car will be carefully soaped using professional car wash chemicals and cleaning materials, before being rinsed to achieve a perfect finish as part of the RNLI’s national fundraising event, called SOS Day.
Money will collected by donation. A second event is also planned for April 6th.
All over the UK, schools, businesses and families will be holding fundraising events along the RNLI’s SOS theme such as Sizzle our Sausages, Stars Or Stripes and Swap our Stuff.
