These were the scenes on Brean beach on Sunday (May 12th) when hundreds of Volkswagen enthusiasts held a mass convoy during the village’s three-day Van West festival.

Hundreds of VW camper vans and cars joined in a parade through Brean to mark the end of the successful festival, which was held at Warren Farm holiday park.

Co-organiser Adrian Ashby told Burnham-On-Sea.com that a record number of visitors had come to the event over the three days.

“We had around 900 vehicles on site during the weekend and over 300 joined the parade on the beach. Several thousand people attended over the festival and, despite the wet weather, everyone had a great time.”

A number of trade stands and attractions were set up at the holiday park, alongside displays of vehicles and other entertainment.
