residents invited to get involved in wartime theatre show
World War II comedy drama about a family's life in Bethnal Green
will be coming to Burnham-On-Sea's Princess Theatre in April -
and residents are being invited to get involved.

in Burnham to be a part of the production. "We would like
to invite local residents to send in real and imagined letters
from the point of view of an evacuee, either called Lucy or Michael.
The winner's letter will be read out in an additional scene of
the play and incorporated into the production," she explained.

not used in the play. We would also appreciate copies - no originals
please! - of any photos you may have of the late 1930s up to 1945,
which we would also like to incorporate in the production."
