Teenage motorcyclist killed in three-vehicle crash near Wedmore

Police have appealed for witnesses and information following a fatal road crash near Wedmore on Monday night (April 29th).

The incident occurred in Cheddar Road in the village of Cocklake, near Wedmore, at around 8.10pm.

Police said an 18-year-old male motorcyclist died as a result of the collision, which involved three vehicles – a car, van and motorcycle.

Emergency services from Burnham-On-Sea were called to the scene and the road was closed for several hours while an investigation into the collision began.

Officers from the force's collision investigation unit are appealing for witnesses to come forward via the non-emergency telephone number 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
