Burnham-On-Sea Youth Choir launches this week
newly-formed Burnham-On-Sea choir for young people aged up to
18 has been launched this week.
'Burnham Youth Choir' is the new name for the group formerly called
'The Siobhan Johnson Singers Junior Choir' which won many awards
for its performances over the years.
Siobhan Johnson told Burnham-On-Sea.com why the new group has
been formed: "I feel this is the next progression for the
choir so they can sing together as a community and represent their
local town when performing."

added: "We are a modern-day, fun choir and sing a whole variety
of popular songs from musicals, films to pop music. There is no
need to read music or have previous singing experience as full
professional training is given."
age range for the choir is 8 yrs - 18yrs and is aimed at boys
and girls. It meets on Tuesdays from 5.15pm - 6.15pm at Burnham
Community Centre in Berrow Road.

Club of Burnham's Christmas Carol Service' at St Andrew's Church
in Burnham on Saturday 14th December from 6.30pm.
