revamp of Highbridge play area set to be completed this month
to give a play area in Highbridge a long-awaited £31,600
refurbishment is set to be completed this month.
District Council says the work at Talbot Close is progressing
well and is on track to be completed during the week starting
new play area will include a four-seater seesaw, roundabout and
toddler multi-play unit plus a new bench and bin.
old wooden palisade fencing, which had reached the end of its
life, has already been replaced with a new traditional-style metal
fencing with two new self-closing pedestrian gates.

for use by disabled children. The multi-play unit includes a double
width slide, ring climber, binocular platform and climbing grips.
