last night (Monday) when a special screening of a hit movie was
held in the town.

Best Exotic Marigold Hotel at The Ritz Cinema to raise funds
for the annual display.
Chamber of Trade, which oversees the annual display across the
town centre, had warned earlier this month that it had a funding
shortfall which may have led to this year's display being scaled
back. But the team said last night that would now not be case
after a total of £516 was raised.
Chamber is grateful to all those who came along to the screening
and to the businesses who gave raffle prizes for their support.
Special thanks also go to Pat and Beryl Scott for holding the
event at the cinema and to the Ritz Social Club for their support,"
said the Chamber's Chairman Mark Newman.
