Air ambulance lands in Burnham to help lady after heart attack

An air ambulance landed in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday morning (January 2nd) to help a resident who had suffered a suspected heart attack.

The yellow Dorset and Somerset helicopter landed in the fields next to the Frank Foley Parkway, as pictured here.

Ambulance spokesman Ben Middleton told "We were called at 10.49am to a nearby road to help a lady who was unconscious after suffering a cardiac arrest."

"Along with two land ambulances, the air ambulance was also called to fly the patient to hospital if needed."
