on Saturday (June 20th) to raise funds for the town's folk festival.
Folkfest Family Fun Day attracted large numbers of supporters
to the Burnham Road Playing Fields besides the Bay Centre, where
stalls and live, entertainment, music and displays were laid on.

were also several stalls set-up around the fields, selling local
crafts and refreshments plus entertainment from Hillview Carnival
Club, the Zone Youth Club, the Youth Council and the boxing club.

hair braiding, face painting and a bouncy castle plus many others
including the amateur radio club.
