Mark Moor International Vehicle Festival returns this Sunday

Hundreds of vehicles will go on show near Burnham-On-Sea this Sunday (August 7th) when the Mark Moor International Vehicle Festival takes place.

The show, which happens every two years, will be held on the playing fields next to Mark Village Hall in the village of Mark.

Organiser Bruce Penrose told that a wide range of vehicles from across the years will be on display.

"It promises to be a superb show - we will have around 300 vehicles on display, so there will be lots to see for visitors."

"Among the many highlights will be a big display of World War 2 military vehicles, along with guns. There will also be many rarely-seen sports cars and classics."

"And there will also be a Gatwick Airport aviation fire engine on show for the first time here - which will be well worth a look!"

Sunday's show is open from 11am - 4pm, with entry priced at £2.50 adults and free for under 16s. Parking is free.

Bruce added that it will be the last time he is organising the event. "We've been running the event for the past ten years and it's now time to pass it on to someone else, so we're talking to a local group who is interested in organising it next time."
