A Burnham-On-Sea resident hopes to raise hundreds of pounds for a cancer support charity to support a family member fighting the disease.
Michelle Haines and supporters will be holding a bag pack on Sunday 16th October from 10am-1pm at Tesco’s Burnham-On-Sea store.
Michelle said: “I have a family member fighting cancer at the moment and wanted to show him our support.”
“Too many loved ones have suffered from this terrible disease and its about time that stops.”
“We need to find a cure.”
“We will be packing customers’ shopping at the Tesco store in the hope of raising money for Stand Up To Cancer.”
She hopes to raise £200 and says that every donation will help. Her online donations page is available here.
