film screening raises over £300 for local charity
£300 was raised for the South and West Somerset Branch of
the Motor Neurone Disease Association during a special charity
film screening in Burnham-On-Sea on Monday (June 27th).
mark Motor Neurone Disease awareness month, a gala screening of
the modern silent movie The Artist was held by Burnham-On-Sea's
good number enjoyed the afternoon performance and helped the film
raise £325 which will be spent caring for local people living
with MND, their carers and families," said Mike Price, chairman
of the local MND branch, and who lives in Burnham. His partner,
Jayne, died in 2012 from MND.
