burglars have stolen a charity collection box, a laptop computer
and money in a break-in at a beauty salon in Burnham-On-Sea this
N' Proper in Abingdon Street was broken into overnight between
9pm on Monday night and 9am on Tuesday morning.

Sarah Glaysher told Burnham-On-Sea.com: "It's so sad that
someone would do this. They stole a laptop, some change from our
till and, incredibly, a MacMillan charity collection box."

and have also carried out door-to-door enquiries in the area."

salon was closed all day on Tuesday and Sarah lost a day's takings
because she was unable to re-open until after the police had finished
their work. The shop is now back open again today.
