Highbridge’s King Alfred School to hold parents evening on Wednesday

-

Parents of Year 6 pupils from local schools are welcome to Highbridge’s King Alfred School for a Parents Evening on Wednesday (4th October).

The Priory Learning Trust, which made Priory Community School outstanding and one of Britain’s best schools, is now supporting the Highbridge school.

The trust team will be offering parents a chance to hear more about the school’s plans for the future.

It comes as the school has unveiled its new uniform with prefects now wearing the uniforms, with tie and blazer. The new Year 7s from next September will be compulsory wearing the outfit, while the rest of the students will have the option to wear it. Prefects will all wear ties.

Head Teacher Denise Hurr said: “We are excited to meet parents of Year 6 children. The uniform looks absolutely tremendous and we are delighted to be able to show it off this year with the prefects.”

Thizs week’s event starts at 6pm this Wednesday (4th October).
