Marine Cove gardens to host May Day celebration
Marine Cove gardens will come to life on Monday 1st May when a traditional
May Day celebration is held.
event will take place from 11am to 1pm with entertainment and activities
for children to take part in, including a Fairy Hunt and Floral
off the event off at 11am will be the Chalice Morris Men who will
be dancing in the garden, followed by May Pole Dancing by St Josephs
School or Country Dancing and music by the King Alfred Youth Brass
To celebrate May Day there will also be free craft activities for
children, including flower making and plant pot decorating, plus
a fairy hunt with a reward for those who complete the challenge.
Green Flag award-winning Marine Cove is located next to Burnham's
St Andrews Church on The Esplanade and plays host to many
free activities throughout the year.
