Monarchs Acrobatic Gymnastics Club held its annual presentation
evening at the weekend where awards were handed out to its top young

who started off with some thoughts about the club's sadly-missed

gymnasts, Jacob Baker, to look back at all of the competitions and
events throughout 2016.

they included Most improved partnership - Holly Parsons and Holly
Phillips; Newcomer award - Naomi Lourenco; Service to the club -
Jess Smith; Attendance award - Connie Skinner; Neville Jones Trophy
for the most outstanding gymnast - Elijah Keedwell.

and Kian Hawkes; Newcomer award - Erin Morgan; Service to the club
- Eloise Baker; Attendance award - Eloise Baker; ad the Neville
Jones Trophy for the most outstanding gymnast - Alice Kelson. The
Merrett Award went to Ornela Velaj.
a brilliant evening it is back to training as normal and we have
a team of gymnasts competing in Scotland next weekend and then a
series of competitions every month right up until the end of July,"
