Organisers of Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge’s annual carnival have started work on this autumn’s 73rd annual parade.
This year’s 2019 Burnham-On-Sea Carnival will be held on Monday November 4th, it was confirmed at this week’s carnival annual general meeting.
Organisers from Highbridge and Burnham-On-Sea Carnival Ltd met on Wednesday night (February 13th) at The Coopers Arms in Highbridge for the AGM, which was attended by members of the committee and supporters, pictured here.
The team say more helpers are needed. “We are looking for dedicated and passionate people to join our team – no previous experience is necessary,” said a spokesperson.
Key positions elected during the AGM were Phil New as Carnival Chairman, Bradley Loveridge as Chief Marshall, Jonathan Walter as Treasurer, and Malcolm Borland as President.
