A woman suffered hip and ankle injuries after an accident involving a car in Burnham-On-Sea town centre on Tuesday (March 13th).

Police were called at 3.50pm to the junction of Adam Street and the High Street, along with an ambulance from South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT).

A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We were called to reports of a collision between a woman pedestrian and a car at the junction of Adam Street and High Street in Burnham-On-Sea at about 3.50pm.”

“An ambulance was called for the pedestrian, who is believed to have hip and ankle injuries.”
