Brean caravan owners offer mobile home stays to victims of Pontins incident

-

Kind-hearted members of a caravanning group in Brean have offered free holidays to those hurt in last week’s Brean Pontins heating duct incident.

Several members of the online Brean Seasonal Caravaners Club (BSC), who have caravans at Holiday Resort Unity in Brean, have offered short stays in their caravans to help.

As Burnham-On-Sea.com reported here, 18 people were injured, with six taken to hospital, when a heating duct collapsed in a busy club house at the Pontins Brean Sands holiday park.

Michelle Holyland says she was shocked by the incident that she and five other owners wanted to help those affected, and they are now offering weekend breaks in their caravans.

The caravans are being offered to families who were involved in the Pontins collapse for a three-day break from Friday to Sunday, with passes for free entry to RJ’s and discounts for other amenities at Holiday Resort Unity.
