Cannabis plants seized and man arrested in raid on Highbridge flat

A man has been arrested after Burnham-On-Sea Police swooped on a property in Highbridge this week as part of a drugs investigation.

A quantity of cannabis plants was seized from the town centre flat on Thursday evening (August 21st).

A Police spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Following information from the community, we attended a flat in the town centre where six cannabis plants were being grown.”

“The plants were seized and a male occupant has been arrested. It was a good result thanks to the co-operation of the community. We always appreciate information like this which can be handled anonymously.”
