A fundraising evening of sea shanty music will be held to raise funds for Burnham-On-Sea RNLI.
The Burnham RNLI fundraising team are organising the event featuring entertainment from the celebrated sea shanty group, The Steepholmers.
The evening is being held at Burnham-On-Sea Avenue Tennis Club on Wednesday 23rd July at 7.30pm with doors opening from 7pm.
Tickets are available via Event Brite at £12 each plus booking fee by searching for Lifeboats Burnham. There will also be a licensed bar throughout the evening, plus a raffle.
The Steepholmers are a sea shanty group that was formed in Weston-super-Mare in early summer 2018 with a little help from a certain popular video game with a nautical theme.
It meets every Wednesday for rehearsals from 7.30pm until 9pm and performs a range of popular sea shanties while always remaining keen on learning new ones to enhance our repertoire.
