Noel and Barbara FurzeA Burnham-On-Sea couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary by sharing a huge cake with friends at a club in the town.

Noel and Barbara Furze, pictured, celebrated the milestone at a family party earlier this month.

But the couple, who are members of Burnham-On-Sea Moose International Lodge 123, didn’t want their fellow members to miss out on the celebrations, so brought along a huge cake to this week’s club meeting.

“They brought an anniversary cake to share with their friends. It was a really nice gesture that was much appreciated,” said a spokesman.
