Burnham-On-Sea’s swimming pool will re-open this Thursday (January 3rd) after a closure over Christmas for refurbishment work.
The Swim and Sports Academy in Berrow Road closed on Christmas Eve to allow major work to refurbish the pool’s sand filter to go ahead.
The pool was not due to re-open until next week, however the work has finished early.
“The work was undertaken over the holiday and we are pleased to announce that we are opening the pool up this Thursday five days earlier than expected,” the Academy’s Sara Cox-Conklin told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
“We will therefore be open on Thursday and Friday from 7-9am for lane swimming, from 9-12pm for open swimming, 12-2pm for lane swimming and 2-7pm for open swimming. The pool will also be open on Saturday and Sunday.”
