New support group for suicide sufferers launched in Charley’s memory

-

A new peer support group for those bereaved by suicide is to be launched in Burnham-On-Sea this month by a recently-formed charity.

The group is being formed by the new charity ‘In Charley’s Memory’, set up in memory of Burnham-On-Sea teenager Charley Marks, 18, pictured, who took his own life last September.

“The new group will support one another by sharing stories on how people are affected by the loss of a loved-one or a friend,” Charley’s mother, Jo Clement, told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“This group is open to anyone who is prepared to travel to Burnham. The group will manage itself.”

“We will be meeting at the BASC Ground downsairs bar in Burnham from 7-9pm on the fourth Thursday of every month, starting on January 29th.”

For further information, contact the group by email at in_charleys_memory@outlook.com.
