Burnham Area Youth Centre set to be officially opened this Sunday
The
new-look Burnham Area Youth Centre is set to be officially opened
this weekend following a major revamp.
 The
BAY Centre in Cassis Close has been brought up to date and fully
renovated during the last two years following a major fundraising
campaign and a £72,000 lottery grant.
On
Sunday (September 24th), a 'Grand Open Day' is to be held when
visitors can look around and see the centre's new-look facilities.
A number of the centre's clubs will also be showing what they
do.
The
day gets underway at 2pm when Highbridge paralympian medal winner
Anthony Stevens will be opening the event. Stalls, raffles, games,
entertainment and refreshments will be available.
Burnham-On-Sea.com
is set to become the official online home of the BAY Centre. A
new Web site will be launched on Sunday to provide more news and
background information about the facility.
